Piers Morgan Mocks Trans Community In Tweet About The Snow

Piers Morgan, host of Good Morning Britain and former newspaper editor, has once again lashed out at the transgender and gender fluid community in his continued campaign of hate.

The television host, who on previous occasions has argued that children should not be allowed to dress in clothing that is not seen as being for their gender, told trans people on the show that they are 'confused', denied people's gender identity to their faces, and has described gender non-binary people as 'a contagion', has tweeted further insult to the community.

With snowfall having covered most of the UK this weekend, Morgan celebrated the change in weather by tweeting that he's 'off to build a non-binary gender fluid snowperson', followed by snowflakes.

Despite many people responding to the tweet decrying Morgan's comments, he has received a large number of positive responses, and has had a number of Twitter users respond with similar, transphobic comments.

Christian Teacher Suing School After Being Sacked For Transphobic Discrimination Against Pupil

Joshua Sutcliffe, a secondary school teacher who was recently fired from their position at a school in Oxfordshire following an investigation into transphobic behaviour has announced that they will be suing their former employers.

Mr Sutcliffe claimed that he accidentally misgendered a student on one occassion, and immediately appologised for doing so, however, it has been reported that this was the last of several incidents in which he misgendered the same student, despite being informed not to.

After the event the students mother complained to the school, informing them that Mr Sutcliffe had misgendered her son on numerous occassions, calling him a girl in front of other students.

Mr Sutcliffe told the school's senior staff that he personally didn't see any harm in calling a transgender boy a girl, but did not intentionally do so in order to remain professional.

The school suspended the Maths teacher in order to conduct an investigation into these claims, and later chose to fire him after reaching the conclusion that this was not an isolated incident, and that he had 'contravened the school's equality policy' and 'demonstrated discriminatory behaviours'. As such, his employment was ended.

During the investigation Sutcliffe complained to the press, stating that he believes it was against his human rights to make him call a trans student by their correct pronouns, and that the school was pushing a 'liberal, leftish agenda', calling the school's equality policies 'totalitarian'.

Following his dismissal Mr Sutcliffe has written to the school to inform them that he intends to take legal action against them.

In a statement released today by the Christian Legal Centre, who are supporting Sutcliffe's case, said that Sutcliffe had not received the correct training.

'The child had self-declared as 'male', but Mr Sutcliffe, who had been given no formal instruction on how he was to refer to the pupil, said 'well done girls' in her presence.' The statement said. 'When the pupil became irate, Mr Sutcliffe sought to diffuse the situation and apologised.

'Nonetheless an investigation began, during which time Mr Sutcliffe was prevented from teaching and forced to spend all his time in isolation in the staff room. Following the week long investigation, the school found Mr Sutcliffe to have 'misgendered' the pupil, 'demonstrating discriminating behaviours' and 'contravened the school's equality policy'.'

The Christian Legal Centre previously released a statement on the case before Mr Sutcliffe's firing in which is referred to anti-discrimination policies as 'silencing' and 'punishing' teachers.

'This is one of a large number of cases we are encountering where teachers are finding themselves silenced or punished if they refuse to fall in line with the current transgender fad.' The chief executive Andrea Williams said.

Mr Sutcliffe has yet to comment on this announcement of legal action against the school.

School Defends Decision To Sack Gay Teacher

South Coast Baptist College in Western Australia has defended it's decision to terminate the employment of a teacher because they had come out as gay.

Craig Campbell revealed his sexuality to his employers (previously reported on here), but soon found himself without work when the school would not offer him any further shifts as a relief teacher, despite being a member of staff at the school for two years.

Following Craig's termination the head teacher of South Coast Baptist College Des Mitchell, pictured on the school website beside the motto 'rigorous minds, compassionate hearts', told media that Craig's sexuality was 'inconsistent' with being a teacher.

At the time Mr Mitchell said, 'I shared with him that at present there is an inconsistency with his beliefs on sexuality and the college's beliefs. At the time Craig requested to be a relief teacher at SCBC, he had a very clear knowledge of the college's Christian values and related beliefs. At present, for us, we chose not to employ someone who's openly gay.'

Unfortunately, as the school is a religious facility it is exempt from anti-discrimination laws. Western Australia's LGBTI Advocacy Group has called for these rules to be changed to protect LGBT+ employees.

The group spoke to ABC News on the issue, stating that 'That exemption is now out of date and out of step with community feeling. this is no longer a political issue. It's a human rights issue.'

Despite this, South Cost Baptist College have insisted that they made the correct choice, insisting that religious freedoms are important.

Fundamentalists Launch Christmas Boycott Of Target For Transgender Policy

A Christian fundamentalist group, 2nd Vote, has renewed the boycott of Target this week, citing the companies policies of tolerance and acceptance of the transgender community.

A member of the group, Lance Wray, spoke to the Christian Post to say, 'Despite the impact to their bottom line, Target continues to champion the left's radical agenda. Not only does Target contribute financially to liberal activists, but its dangerous policy of allowing men into women's restrooms and bathroom facilities remain in place.

'Let's continue holding Target accountable for it's left-wing Activism! Our #AnywhereButTARGET campaign continues this Christmas shopping season and we need your help spreading the word.'

A video on the groups website has claimed that the boycott of Target has led to a loss of profits for the company of 43%, and the stock being down 30%.

However, financial and business experts have said that these difficulties have been down to competitors and online shopping.

Teacher Loses Job For Being Gay

A teacher in Western Australia, Craig Campbell, has lost his job as a substitute teacher after he came out as gay to his colleagues at South Coast Baptist College in Perth.

Campbell, who had been working at the school for three years, went to the college as a student, and attended their church, chose to come out at his workplace following a family wedding that he attended with his partner, which was also attended by a number of the school's students.

'It got to the point where I was like, 'I can't hide this anymore',' he spoke out to the press, describing his decision to come out. Campbell, who was openly gay in his personal and family life, chose to inform his head of department about his sexuality. 'I told them I was in a relationship, and obviously this is something that I believe is fine from both a moral and theological standpoint.'

Following this meeting with his head of department, Campbell was removed from the list of relief teachers, effectively firing him from his position at the school.

The college principal, Des Mitchell, who can be seen on the college website next to the school's motto 'Rigorous Minds, Compassionate Hearts', confirmed on television to 7 News Perth that Campbell had lost his job because of his sexuality.

'At present, for us, we choose not to employ someone who is openly gay.' He told reporters. 'There is an inconsistency with his beliefs on sexuality and the college's beliefs.'

Campbell went on to say that he was not out during his time at the college as a student, but recognised that some of his students were struggling in the same issues of being gay in an intolerant environment.

'I could see that there were a number of kids who were struggling with it as well. And I'm sure their experience is just like it was for me,' he said.

Unfortunately, the school will not be facing any legal action for homophobic discrimination as LGBT+ employees at private or religious schools can be fired for no reason under the law.

Why Do People Care More About Animals Than Transgender People?

It has been revealed this week the members of parliament in the UK have voted to reject inclusion of animal sentience into the European Union Withdrawal Bill. This vote essentially means that the UK does not recognise that animals have emotions or feel pain.

This decision has rightly been condemned by media outlets, celebrities, and the general public as people call out the decision as being cruel, ignorant, and downright false. Whilst I completely agree with those sentiments, and feel that it is absolutely abhorrent that the British government would make such a ruling, one of the things that has surprised me most is the level of outrage that this has received.

Hundreds of thousands of people have taken to social media to condemn this, newspapers have reported on it, television and radio have discussed this, and in near all of these cases people have condemned animals losing this fundamental protection. What truly upsets me, however, is how more people are outraged by this than the hate that befalls the transgender community.

In the week leading up to the animal sentience vote, the same week as the Trans Day of Remembrance which recognised the members of the transgender community that have died or been killed in 2017, British media published an anti-trans article every single day, with such publications as The Daily Mail and The Sun stirring up hate towards the trans community.

Whilst this was an increase on the normal amount of anti-trans sentiment, this was only the latest salvo in the war against the trans community. This year we have seen ourselves attacked in the media, mocked on television, attempts made to ban us from the US military, been portrayed as sexual predators.

The push back against giving transgender people equal rights with the cisgender community, to be recognised as regular human beings hasn't been met with the same level of outrage or condemnation that the animal sentience vote has received.

You don't need to look far on social media to see regular, everyday people clamouring for animals to be recognised as sentient, and condemn those who don't feel the same, calling people inhuman or in some cases monsters for supporting the vote. In contrast, when people turn around to those with anti-trans sentiments and call them out on the issue are often told that these people are entitled to their opinion.

Transphobe and TERF (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist) are terms that we are told by those with anti-trans sentiments are rude or abusive. We are told that our desire for equality is forcing our opinions on others.

Why are people who feel that animals shouldn't be recognised as sentient seen as horrible people, yet those who deny trans people their identities and their rights simply voicing an opinion?

The answer appears to be, the public see transgender people as less than animals.

I have been discriminated against in my job, I've been sworn at in the street, laughed at, mocked, called a freak, had people tell me I'm delusional, that I'm a man, I've been spat on, threatened with physical attacks, rape, and murder. I've not seen a single person come to my defence in these situations, I've been told to shrug it off or ignore it. If people had abused animals in such a way in public they would instantly have been called out on it.

I know that this article seems to be nothing but a rant and a moan, that there's nothing that will change from this, but the constant media assault, the constant fight to be seen as a human being is just so tiring and so demoralising.

Being trans isn't easy, trans people are under constant attack, we're being told that our identities aren't valid, that we're delusional or mentally ill, we're made out to be criminals, rapists and child molesters in order to push political agendas; and any time we speak out against this we're demonised for wanting to be seen as human.

Animal rights are important, they matter, but if you feel that trans people are worth less than animals, perhaps you should think a bit more about your stance on the matter.

Canada Elects First Transgender Mayor

Julie Lemieux has become the first openly transgender person to be elected to the office of mayor in the Canadian town of Tres-Saint-Redempteur in Montreal.

Lemieux served on the towns municipality council for four years before running for mayor, and is also the towns first female mayor in its 137 year history.

She told the press that she was proud to be both the first transgender person to hold the position in the town, but also the first woman. She also stated that she believed her win 'wasn't the start of a movement, but the result of years of work by many to build tolerance in our communities across the country.'

She went on to say that her win shows that 'people from rural areas are open-minded and shouldn't be seen as out-of-touch just because they don't live in cities'.

According to a report made by CBC, those who voted for Lemieux did so not because she is transgender, but because they wanted positive change in their community.

One of her supporters said, 'I think this opens the door to anyone who feels different in society. It doesn't matter who you are - if you want to do something then you should do it.'

Transgender Model Talulah-Eve Brown Threatened With Acid Attack

Model Talulah-Eve Brown, a former contestant on Britain's Next Top Model, has revealed that she was threatened with an acid attack and transphobic hate speech on the Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Taking to Twitter to share her experience, she wrote, 'I'm never one to go on and on about the trolling I receive but when people threaten me with an 'acid attack' it's just hard to fathom what goes on in people's minds in order to say sickening things like that.'

A source close to Talulah-Eve told the newspaper The Sun that 'People can be so hateful and be quite ugly. She's used to being yelled at in the streets, even before she became famous. This acid threat has definitely knocked her for six. We've all seen how it's become something of a trend.'

Labour MP Caroline Flint Wants To Protect Women's Spaces From Trans Women Who 'Look And Sound Like Men'

Caroline Flint, Labour MP for Don Valley, has spoken out against the transgender community on the Transgender Day of Remembrance in an interview with Evening Standard.

In an interview that begins with Ms Flint discussing being sexually assaulted on the London Underground, before she moves on to discuss transgender rights, and her fears that 'women are getting left behind in the trans debate'.

Ms Flint voiced her concerns that allowing transgender people to access women only spaces could endanger women and girls, 'Young women have told me that they have been in gender-neutral toilets and men have come in, not trans men or women but men, and been abusive and intimidating. These are everyday things, like Topshop making its changing rooms gender-neutral.' She said.

'With the best will in the world, in a changing room there are young girls wandering around in bras because it's seen as safe. Having men in there would change that. I don't know why debate around this has become adversarial. We need to think through how to support those from the trans community but not in such a way that compromises women's and girl's rights.'

Ms Flint then went on to say that she feels that transgender women should be excluded from domestic violence shelters, 'It's important that women feel safe there. It's difficult to judge if someone says they define themselves as a trans woman but for all intents and purposes look and sound like a man.'

The article continues on to include Ms Flint's fears that trans people are trying to impose transgenderism on children when they choose to dress in a way that doesn't match their assigned gender.

She states that she feels 'that a wider group of voices wasn't heard on the women and equalities committee.' The inquiry that she referrs to published a report in 2016 that called the government to make improvements to the Gender Recognition Act, chiefly to reduce the number of hurdles that trans people are required to go through in order to legally change gender.

Despite claiming that she 'absolutely supports trans rights' this is not the first time that she has spoken out against the trans community, having previously intervened in a debate in parliament claiming that gender-neutral toilets put cisgender women at risk of sexual assault.

At the time she cited evidence that cisgender women would be put at risk in gender-neutral toilets from a case where a student at the University of East Anglia placed cameras in gender-neutral toilet. After it was pointed out to Ms Lucas that the case in question was a cisgender man placing cameras in a female only toilet facility she still refused to retract her comments, even going on to complain about gender-neutral facilities because men 'urinate in the sink'.

Twitter Censors LGBT+ Content As Adult Content

The social media outlet Twitter has this weekend updated their policies to try to exclude 'adult content' from the site, and in doing so have blocked content from the LGBT+ community, including search results for the term bisexual, bisexuality, gay, and transsexual.

Twitter issued a blog post on 3 November confirming these changes.

'Online behaviour continues to evolve and change, and at Twitter, we have to ensure that those changes are reflected in our rules in ways that's easy to adhere to and understand. Today, we're publishing a new version of the Twitter Rules to clarify our policies and how we enforce them. While the fundamentals of our policies and our approach have not changed, this updated version presents our rules with more details and examples.'

Twitter included a small list of updated areas, including abusive behaviour, self-harm, spam, and adult content.

Whilst these changes aim to crack down on online abuse, members of the LGBT+ community have already found that numerous pieces of content have been removed, including images with the hashtag bisexual, and videos with the hashtag gay.

Where there can at times be adult content with many of these hashtags, the majority of posts using them do not contain offensive materials, and as such, Twitter is being called out for LGBT+ erasure, and Bi erasure in particular.

Whilst there are no image, video, or news results for #Bisexual, #Bisexuality, and #Transsexual, only some aspects of other LGBT+ hashtags have been blocked, such as images for #Gay.

Despite these changes in rules to try to remove 'adult content', Twitter if still filled with pornographic images and videos, with the only content that appears to be blocked so far being unrelated to the areas in which Twitter has said that it wants to police.

Many bisexual users on Twitter have expressed their concerns over this development. With bisexuality having a history of being overlooked in the past the removal of bisexual content is very concerning, as is the possible conflation of bisexuality being linked to promiscuity and increased sexual activity.

Twitter has yet to reverse these changes, or comment on the removal of LGBT+ content.

Daily Mail Uses Trans Man's Photos Without Permission To Attack Trans Community

The right wing tabloid The Daily Mail has used the photographs of a transgender man without obtaining his permission in an article aimed at attacking the transgender community and trans rights.

Alex Bertie, a rans rights activist and YouTuber shared his outrage at the incident on his social media accounts on Sunday 29th October following the discovery of the theft of his images, and their use at attacking the community that he has worked hard to help.

The article, entitled 'NHS Pressured Our Kids To Change Sex', in which the tabloid's writers claim that transgender teenagers are being 'brainwashed' by social media sites and allowed by the NHS to transition without proper vetting. The article claims that parents of trans teens are 'terrified' to complain through fear of backlash from trans activist and being labelled as bigots.

Alex's photos, showing the progression of his transition, were used alongside the first line of the article, 'Transgender backlash as desperate parents accuse overzealous therapists of 'blindly accepting' children's claims to have been born in the wrong body'.

The Daily Mail has yet to respond to Alex's outrage at the theft of his images, and the anger of them being used in an article designed to attack the trans community.

Unfortunately, The Daily Mail has a long history of attacking the transgender community, and the LGBT+ community as a whole. The tabloid recently attacked the NHS for allowing trans people to freeze their sperm and eggs before transition (a service that is paid for by the patient, not the NHS), as well as complaining about the National Trust attempting to include more LGBT+ history.

The Daily Mail were also found to be responsible for the media onslaught that terrorised the transgender teacher Lucy Meadows, who took her own life following the tabloids campaign to ruin her career.

Mother Removes Child From School For Learning About LGBT+ People

A mother in Atlanta has removed her daughter from school following a lesson that taught children that LGBT+ people exist.

Octavia Parks, whose 12-year-old daughter attends Lithonia Middle School in Georgia, told Fox News in an interview that she chose to remove her daughter from the school following a lesson in which students were taught the correct terms for same sex relationships.

'We're talking about a sixth grader who still watches Nickelodeon.' Parks complained. 'I'm not ready to explain what these words are nor what they mean. I will be removing her from class and I'm going to take it to the board of education to see what they have to say about it as well.

'Why are they teaching that in school? What does it have to do with life?'

Some outlets are reporting that other parents have also complained about their children learning that LGBT+ relationships exist, and that further action has been taken against the school.

The Times Newspaper Mocks Trans People Over Census Proposal

Following the suggestion that the question requiring people to include their sex on the national census be removed to be more inclusive of transgender and gender variant people, The Times has reported on the news with a cartoon that mocks transgender people.

This article, titled 'No sex, please, this is the census', can be found by clicking HERE.

The recommendation that the question regarding sex be removed from the census is simply that, a recommendation, and is still being discussed. Despite this, The Times has reported that this change will come after 'protests', protests which have not happened.

This is not the first time that The Times has published an article that has targeted the transgender community, having also attacked the children's charity Mermaids.

Germaine Greer Slams Cambridge University For Trans Inclusion

'Feminist' Germaine Greer has faced criticism for further attacks on the transgender community after condemning Cambridge University's Murray Edwards College for changing its admissions policy to allow female identified transgender students to attend the institute.

Murray Edwards College was founded as a single-sex female only college in 1954, but has announced that it will now accept any person who identifies as female.

'At the admissions level, we will consider any student who, at the point of application, identifies as female and, where they have been identified as male at birth, has taken steps to live in the female gender,' the college has said in a statement.

Since the establishment of the Equality Act of 2010, it has been illegal to discriminate against transgender people, and to demand that trans people provide proof of their gender where a cisgender person would not be. This includes areas such as bathroom facilities, changing areas, and single-sex only institutions such as Murray Edwards College. Despite this, very few single-sex institutions have policies in place for transgender people.

Despite this, Germaine Greer has spoken out against this change. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, she said 'It's a silly situation, and I'm sure that Murray Edwards will have their own reasons. But it's a difficult relationship, having transgender people in an all-female environment.

'If Murray Edwards really don't believe that gender is binary, then they really shouldn't be a single sex college. Their position is ridiculous. The only sane thing for them to do is to cease discriminating on the basis of assigned gender of any kind.

'There are plenty of women who have served their time in women's colleges, who are pretty whiskery, but nobody did a DNA test on them. But they had to live women's lives - with all the disabilities that that entails.'

This is not the first time where Greer has spoken out against the transgender community, having previously stated that transgender women are 'some kind of ghastly parody', and that trans women cannot be women as they 'don't know what it's like to have a big, hairy, smelly vagina'.

She has also stated that 'because you lop off your dick and then wear a dress doesn't make you a fucking woman.'

Despite this outlash from Greer, the President of Murray Edwards College, Dame Barbara Stocking, has defended the decision.

'We are a college that is open to all outstanding young women and so it is absolutely right, both legally and within our set of values, for anyone who identifies as female to be able to apply to study with us.' She said. 'Society is changing and there are now a greater understanding of the complexity of gender.'

The College has also said that it will accept existing Cambridge students if they transition whilst attending.

New UKIP Leader Has Stated That LGBT+ Equality Has Gone 'Too Far'

The new UK Independence Party leader, Henry Bolton, has spoken out against LGBT+ equality shortly after winning his leadership position, claiming that children are being 'encouraged' to question their sexuality.

Henry Bolton, a former soldier and police officer, was announced as the new UKIP leader, the fourth leader of the party within the last 18 months, on Friday 29th September. Speaking at a press conference following the announcement, he said that LGBT+ equality had gone 'a bit far'.

'Quite honestly, I think it is getting a bit far when we are encouraging children in some cases to question their own sexuality.' He said at the conference. 'I think that is certainly going too far.'

Henry Bolton would also go on to complain that cisgender people do not have a chance to debate transgender rights.

'What I have a problem with is that we should all have a choice in that debate. If somebody feels that it has gone too far they should be free to express that concern.'

He went on to claim that there is 'an effort to silence any dissenting voice' in discussions of LGBT+ rights, which he feels is not keeping with 'the principle of freedom of speech'.

Transgender Teen Thrown Out Of Christian School For Gender Identity

A young transgender man, Stiles Zuschlag, has revealed that he was told that he was no longer welcome at the school he had been attending since kindergarten due to his gender identity.

Stiles told his local media that despite having an excellent academic record he was informed by the staff at Tri-City Christian Academy in Somersworth, New Hampshire, told him that he was no longer welcome at the school.

Stiles and his mother, who met with the school to discuss his transition, have reported that the school administrator Paul Edgar told the two of them that Stiles was 'going down the wrong path', that he should confess his sins, renounce that he is male, and cease testosterone treatment. He was told that he should consider homeschooling instead, or even Christian counselling.

Paul Edgar and Tri-City Christian Academy have declined to comment on the matter to the press, citing student privacy as the reason for not doing so.

'To protect the privacy of our families, TCCA admissions decisions and any reasons for these various decisions, are not considered matters for public disclosure. Therefore, we have no comment.'

Due to Tri-City Christian Academy being a private school, and not receiving the federal funding that requires private schools to adhere to non-discriminatory policies no laws have been broken. Sadly, Tri-City Christian Academy, and other private religious schools, are free to torment students and discriminate against them in this way without any repercussions.

Stiles has transferred to Noble High School in North Berwick, where he has been nominated for 'Prince of Homecoming'.

Fox News Pundit Claims Rainbow Flag and Confederate Flag Are 'The Same'

Fox News' morning show Fox and Friends aired a segment on the morning of Tuesday 15th August regarding the criticism that Donald Trump has received for his response to the violence and murder that took place in Charlottesville over the weekend.

Star Parker, President of the Centre for Urban Renewal and Education, appeared as a guest during this segment, where she compared white-nationalists and the Confederate flag to the LGBT+ community and the rainbow Pride flag.

'What's really interesting with an incredible irony here is that the same people who are demanding that the Confederate flag comes down are the same people that are insisting that the rainbow flag goes up.' She said during the interview.

'These two flags represent the exact same thing, that certain groups are not welcome here.'

Whilst she does seem to be acknowledging that the Confederate flag is a symbol of racism, a symbol that makes members of the African American community feel unwelcome and unsafe, the rainbow flag has never been used in the same context. The rainbow flag is not used to tell straight people that they are not welcome, nor does it represent the oppression of straight people.

Parker went on to complain about the criticism that Donald Trump has faced from the left, particularly from Democratic leader Nanci Pelosi.

'If Pelosi wants to say that we're going to start shutting down First Amendment rights of a certain group of people, then what happens the next time that the homosexuals want to walk through an American city and protest, counter-protesters come out?'

She also went on to say, 'e pluribus unum, many become one, not the multiculturalism and diversity that they keep promoting. There is a cultural war, and it is escalating.'

Parker also congratulated Trump on his comments following the events at Charlottesville, claiming that there was nothing wrong with his statements.

Lesbian Waitress Denied Tip For 'Not Loving Jesus'

Samantha Heaton, a waitress at Buffalo Wild Wings in Rockford, Illinois, has shared an image of a note left by a family she was serving, denying her a tip for 'not loving Jesus'.

In an interview with The Rock River Times Heaton said that she went 'above and beyond' when serving the family, that she took their order, made conversation with them, and followed up with them to make sure that they were enjoying their experience. However, when she collected their credit card statement at the end of their meal she found a note explaining why they had left her no tip.

'Can't tip someone who doesn't love Jesus. Bad tatoo.' The note read, the spelling of tattoo being incorrect on the receipt.

Heaton told the media that the subject of religion did not come up during their conversation, nor did she mention to them that she was gay. The note does mention her tattoo, however. As pictured above, Heaton has a rainbow coloured equality sign tattooed on her arm.

'I went above and beyond for this couple, and for them to that kind of hurt.' Heaton said. 'It sucks not getting a tip, but not getting a tip because I'm gay in 2017 hurts just a little more.'

One of Heaton's co-workers took a photograph of the note next to her tattoo and posted it to social media, along with the caption 'I would just like to say that being gay does NOT MEAN you don't believe in God or Jesus. And people who are 'religious' should not disrespect or act in such ways to other people. p.s., they spelled tattoo wrong.'

Despite many commenters stating that the image is fake, and that it has been fabricated by Heaton in order to garner outrage and support for the LGBT+ community, a manager at Buffalo Wild Wings in Rockford confirmed to HuffPost that Heaton was employed at the restaurant at the time, and that they were made aware of the incident when it happened.

'I myself am Christian.' Heaton said. 'And, as a Christian, 'thou shall not judge'. No matter how someone looks, you should love them for what's in their heart and how they treat you - not for what's on the outside.

'As someone who came out when it was still a battle for the LGBT community, that's just plain rude and uncalled for. What if one day their kids grow up and want to be with the same sex? Are they going to disown them? Throw them on the street?'

Heaton said that she wihed the customers 'would have said something if there was a problem', though she did add, 'I feel that no matter what I would have said they still probably would've left the receipt. People are so closed-minded and only choose to listen to what they believe to be right.'

A Buffalo Wild Wings company spokesperson has released a statement on the incident, saying, 'Buffalo Wild Wings is about creating a great guest and team member experience, and we strive to create a respectful restaurant environment that our guests and team members expect and deserve.'

UKIP Leader Candidate To Oppose 'Militant Transgender Activism'

David Kurten, one of the candidates to take over from Paul Nuttall as leader of the UK Independence Party, and one of only two of the parties elected members of the London Assembly, has said that he will oppose the transgender community if he becomes the party leader.

The party has had a long history of opposing LGBT+ rights, and despite forming their own 'LGBT in UKIP' group still speak out against the LGBT+ community on many occasions. The party even has a number of known, public homophobes within their party standing for election.

Kurten, however, has taken this stance a step further by vowing to boost the party's opposition to the transgender community, to stand against transgender rights, and to fight against LGBT-inclusive sex education in schools.

Speaking in an interview with Buzzfeed, Kurten has said that he wants UKIP to take advantage of the Conservative Party making steps to 'start pushing gender queer theory on primary schools'.

'People don't want their children to be confused by this kind of thing.' He said. 'I will take UKIP in the direction of standing against the militant transgender activism that's happening at the moment.'

Kurten has a history of opposing LGBT+ sex education, having previously stated that the government should ban the teaching of 'non-reproductive sexual acts' within schools, which would effectively ban any education on same sex relationships.

'We must protect our children from damaging and confusing fringe ideologies which sexualise children at an early age and confuse their natural development as boys and girls - both primary, secondary and even pre-school.

'No one would have thought 10 years ago that it would ever be politically incorrect to call children boys and girls, to call parents mothers or fathers, or if you say that there are two biological sexes determined by your chromosomes rather than 40 or 50 or 60 different genders then this is on the way to being considered a hate crime. Of course it isn't. It's science.'

David Kurten is currently running against several candidates for leadership of the party, including Jonathan Rees-Evans, who claimed that a gay donkey raped his horse.

T-Shirt Company Promotes LGBT+ Swastika Clothing

Clothing company Teespring has faced a massive backlash after releasing a range of clothing that tried to use the swastika to promote the LGBT+ community.

The designer of the shirts, KA Design, stated that they wanted to remove the negative connotations that became associated with the swastika when it was used as a symbol by the Nazi party.

'They took the swastika, rotated it by 45 degrees, and turned it into hatred, and turned it into fear, and turned it into war, and turned it into racism, and turned it into power. They stigmatised the swastika forever.

'The swastika is coming back, together with peace, together with love, together with respect, together with freedom. Introducing the new swastika.'

A spokesperson for Teespring stated that they wanted to 'share the beauty' of the swastika. 'We really like the symbol in its shape and aesthetics, and we would love to share the beauty of this symbol detached from the hatred associated with it.'

After the initial backlash Teesping has removed the shirts from sale.

'This morning it came to our attention that a user created a number of designs on Teespring that included a swastika, a hate symbol that we do not allow on Teespring.' They said in a statement following the removal. 'As soon as the design was discovered, it was removed from the site.'

The chair of the Anti-Defamation Commission, Dr Dvir Abramovich, has spoken out about the matter to the media, condemning both the clothing line and the company for selling it.

'I'm outraged and shocked that any company would seek to profit from selling such reprehensible items. The swastika does not represent the LGBTI community, whose members were the victims of Hitler's evil regime. And no, it cannot be rebranded as a symbol of peace.

'KA's naive, and in many ways, selfish attitude shows a staggering lack of concern for the feelings of those who survived the Holocaust and those who lost relatives to the monstrous deeds of the Third Reich.'

Whilst the vast majority of those killed during the Holocaust were Jewish, the LGBT+ community were amongst several minority groups targeted by the Nazis, with thousands imprisoned and killed in concentration camps. Many of those who were liberated from Nazi facilities were later re-arrested and imprisoned by the Allied Nations based upon evidence of their homosexuality kept by the Nazis.
